Still Store

Still Store is an option available for Power CG Live

The Still Store option of Power CG Live will capture still images from the video input(s) and manage them for later use.

To capture still images select which video input has the video feed that you want to capture images from, select which fields to save, and the group of images that the still should be stored with. The input video will appear in the large window of the "Capture Still Images" window.

While the video is playing in the large window, wait for the frame that you want to capture and press the "Capture Video" button. The frame that was displayed when the button was pressed is captured. The system also captures a few frames before and after the one you select. This is done just in case your reaction times that are not accurate to 1/30 of a second.

All of the captured frames are displayed in the film strip towards the bottom of the "Capture Still Images" window. Select the frame that you want to store, and press the "Store Captured Frame" button. Give the image a name and press the "Store" button. At this point you can either select a different frame to store, Capture more video (by pressing the "Resume Video Capture" button), or return back to Power CG Live by pressing the "Close" button.

Once you return to Power CG Live the images that you captured will appear in the "Still Store Catalog". The "Still Store Catalog" is shown below. Select the group of images that you want to use, and handle them just like any other image from aby other catalog in the system.
